Materials, Equipment, and Technology or SCOMET List. On 24 April 2017, the DGFT issued Notification No. 5/2015-2020 dated 24 April 2017 (in force as of May 1) in an effort to more closely align the SCOMET List with the multilateral export control regime lists. The notification added and revised numerous chemical, biological, conventional dual-use, and munitions-related items to the SCOMET List.
